We are hiring Technical Sales Engineers IMMEDIATELY! We are looking for driven, friendly and outgoing sales professionals who are excited to set and exceed goals!

About us: We are a reliable source for quality surgical instrumentation crafted from German surgical stainless steel or machined from US surgical stainless steel. We provide superior instrumentation primarily for orthopedic and spinal surgical procedures in a time-critical fashion and at realistic prices.

Job Summary: Key point of contact for OEM customers answering queries, quoting, providing technical engineering advise, and introducing new products.

NO REMOTE WORK OPTIONS, Up to $100,000+ annual pay including commission with an already established sales territory.

Responsibilities of essential functions include:

1. Act as principal customer contact regarding technical product support and problem resolution.
2. Provide expeditious, timely and courteous handling of all customer questions and requests.
3. Communicate customer feedback to inside engineers to improve products.
4. Provide product education and advice to external customers.
5. Interact with marketing, product development teams, and customers concerning products and product application.
6. Act as technical liaison with manufacturing partners.
7. Train internal and external customers.
8. Understand customers’ requirements and incorporate technical knowledge into sales pitch.
9. Ensure that sales quotas are met.
10. Persuade customers that product best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.
11. Conduct research, identify potential customers, contact prospective customers, arrange meetings, and present products in a convincing and persuasive manner in business to business environment.
12. Perform administrative tasks, track sales activities, write reports, negotiate contracts and support marketing activities.
13. Identify and establish new business to business sales.
14. Develop long term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements.
15. Visit prospects and customers to demonstrate and explain benefits and features of products and services.
16. Prepare contracts, proposals and quotations.
17. Attend tradeshows as assigned.
Responsibilities of non-essential functions include:

Job Requirements:

1. BS in biomedical, mechanical, or equivalent engineering required

2. Experience with Solidworks, AutoCAD, or equivalent software required

3. Sales education or sales experience required
4. Valid driver’s license required
5. Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) required
6. Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to solve customers’ technical problems quickly and thoroughly required
7. Familiarity with mathematical and physical principles related to surgical instruments preferred
8. Knowledge of office management systems and procedures preferred
9. Knowledge of project management preferred
10. Knowledge of handheld surgical instruments preferred
11. Knowledge of stainless steel used to manufacture surgical instruments and/or metallic
implants preferred
12. Work experience within orthopedic industry preferred
13. Evidence of resilience and tenacity preferred
14. Evidence of independence and self-reliance preferred
15. Technical sales experience with medical devices preferred
16. Fluent in written and spoken English
17. Reliable and responsible
18. Organized, detail oriented, accurate, thorough
19. Strong oral, written and effective communication skills
20. Outgoing, enthusiastic and persuasive
21. Proactive and able to make decisions
22. Work well under pressure, tight deadlines, and maintain composure in difficult situations
23. Work independently with minimal or no supervision

24. Able to comfortably speak to small and large audience
25. Able to understand technical drawings, specifications, etc.
26. Able to solve customers‘ technical problems quickly and thoroughly
27. Able to build relationships quickly and effectively and maintain the relationships established
